In high school I would duplicate rock band logos on the folders of friends or make posters for them to hang in their rooms. An obsession was born. I worked as a professional sign-painter right out of high school for five years. Soon computers came to replace the fine craft of hand-lettering. Now that hand-lettering is less common it is more special and that puts my skill in a position to bring something special to my clients.
I have continued the practice of hand lettering throughout the years through freelance work, gift-giving and it has been handy during my time as a custom framer and craft decorator at a major retailer.
Creating artwork designed specifically for clients is what I enjoy doing most. I offer a unique visualization on what I can create after consulting them about their vision and seeing their environment.Whatever I create is specifically designed for that client.
I am the proud mother of two wonderful kids who are almost all grown up! I love comedies and anything that makes me laugh. I have lived in Charles county Maryland practically all my life. I love being able to experience all the seasons and the beauty that goes with them. My favorite artist is Georgia O’Keefe and would love to one day visit Taos, New Mexico. Making others smile and laugh warms my heart.
